1. Waffles. Do you usually eat frozen or homemade?
~I prefer homemade waffles but unfortunately only my mom knows how to make homemade waffles, so I just rather buy a frozen waffles. I love frozen waffles better though.
2. Eggs. Do you buy brown, white, or it doesn’t matter?
I buy both, though since both of them can be applied to many uses. My husband bought white sugar for his coffee most of the time and I bought brown sugar for my cooking needs.
3. Oatmeal. Do you usually make instant or cooked?
I usually do both. If I'm in the mood of making one, though but if I'm not? I just prefer cooked. My husband loves instant oatmeal though since it is easy and not time consuming.
4. Bacon. Share instructions or a recipe that you use bacon in.
I usually add bacon on burgers. Also I add bacon on Chicken Caesar salad. When I was still in the Philippines, my mom randomly cook a Bacon Kangkong Spaghetti.
# 1 cup bacon strips
# 1 tbsp minced garlic
# 2 tbsp brown sugar
# 1 cube of chicken bouillon
# 4 cups kangkong leaves (water spinach, swamp cabbage, water convolvulus, water morning-glory)
# 1 cup water
# 250 g spaghetti cooked
# grated cheddar cheese for topping
Instructions:
Fry bacon in its own oil for about 3 minutes or until fat has been partly rendered.
Add in garlic. Cook for about 1 minute.
Then add in rest of the ingredients. Mix well.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Toss in pasta. Remove from fire.
Top with cheddar if desired.
